About
My Fellow Ruritans,
As we begin our
journey together through 2007, let us continue our endeavors to improve
our communities throughout the Hermitage District. It has been such a
great honor to visit your club or club function in 2006 and get to know
many of you. As I have
learned of some of your club’s projects and accomplishments, I am so
proud to be associated with you. If your club had not done these things,
would they have ever gotten done?
Would that flagpole with Old Glory flying high be lit each night?
What about the $100 donated to someone who has just lost a home to fire?
Or that donation to a family with a baby needing critical surgery?
Your scholarship may have been the last bit of money which
enabled a student to go to college.
There are so many things each club does that make a difference in
so many lives. Continue
with these projects and others as you improve the communities in the
Hermitage District.
Either
Don or I will visit your club during the year and I look forward to
renewing some acquaintances and meeting some new friends.
Keep submitting your Club Activities Reports so we will be aware
of any upcoming club functions in which we may participate.
Let’s make this a great year for the Ruritans of the Hermitage
District!
Yours in Ruritan,
Evalee
